Liverpool fans are hoping and praying that Borussia Dortmund wonderkid, Jude Bellingham, will join Merseyside next summer. An old video of Bellingham from the end of last season resurfaced and it suggests his love for Liverpool.
When picking his FIFA Team of the Year for Borussia Dortmund’s YouTube channel, he was deciding between picking Lionel Messi or Mohamed Salah for his last pick. The interviewer then asked him to pick between Cristiano Ronaldo and Messi.
He picked Messi but then said, “For this team, I think it’s hard to not go for Salah.”

Liverpool fans are huge fans of Bellingham and are desperate to see him bring a fresh breath of talent to our midfield.
These links have been going on for years and are looking at every sign of hope that he will join the Reds.
He even scored at the Etihad in the UEFA Champions League, and many fans were quick to point out the similarity of his celebration to Salah’s at the same stadium in 2018.

Pole position to sign Jude Bellingham?
However, Liverpool fans do have some reason to hope that this marquee signing will happen. Mike McGrath, a football reporter at The Telegraph, has reported that Liverpool are leading the race to sign Jude Bellingham next summer.

We know that Liverpool are definitely interested in spending big on a midfielder if he’s the right one. Liverpool were keen on signing Aurelien Tchouameni this summer but lost out to Real Madrid.
The Spanish side are also reportedly keen on adding Bellingham to join their young and talented midfield of Tchouameni, Eduardo Camavinga and Federico Valverde. The Reds are sure to face even more competition from more big sides. So, it’s good to have some reassurance that we are one of the front runners for his signature.

In an old episode of Roommates on England’s YouTube channel, Reece James asked him to choose who’s shirt he would swap with out of Frank Lampard, Steven Gerrard or Ashley Young.
James chose Lampard but Bellingham swiftly expressed his preference for Gerrard. He said, “I think I would go Gerrard, though just because the No.8 [shirt], similar position to me, so yeah, I would probably go with him. I love Stevie G to be fair.”
