Liverpool’s Virgil Van Dijk was seen frustrated during a training drill after one of the players was out of position.
The Reds have endured a frustrating start to the season with back-to-back draws in the Premier League against Fulham and then Crystal Palace.
They’ve already fallen four points behind Manchester City and now face Manchester United next – with both sides looking for their first win.
This video in training shows Van Dijk perhaps experiencing some of that frustration when involved in a training drill.

Van Dijk’s frustrations
Liverpool’s Van Dijk was seen frustrated at midfielder Fabinho for his poor positioning during a training drill.
As seen onΒ LFCTVβs Inside Training video, van Dijk couldnβt believe where his teammate was standing during a βrondoβ exercise.
Instead of moving into space, Fabinho moved towards Roberto Firmino, declining the option for a pass. Van Dijk wasnβt having it. βFabio, why are you standing there brother?β asked the 31-year-old.
βIβm with Bobby!β laughed Fabinho, βHe could play with me.β

Van Dijk also had reasons to be frustrated in the game against Palace on Monday as fringe centre-back Nat Phillips started his first PL game since starting against Palace on the last day of the injury-plagued 2020/21 season.
The pair began the game well but suddenly Phillips was caught struggling with the high line which enabled Wilfried Zaha to break through and score – mind you, he wasn’t helped by Fabinho diving in at Eberechi Eze leaving him exposed.
He did struggle and he was brought off early in the second half for Joe Gomez, who will surely start in the next game against United.
Liverpool will want a win to get them back on track at the start of this new season – a big win over a big rival will surely light the fire in the belly of these Liverpool players to go again.
