Trent Alexander-Arnold has yet to accept an offer from Real Madrid as he edges closer to the exit door at Anfield. Liverpool have struggled to convince him to sign a new deal, but with his transfer yet to be confirmed, there is always a chance that he could do a U-turn.
Mo Salah has agreed to sign a new two-year contract, with a couple of interesting clauses, and Virgil van Dijk is soon expected to put pen to paper on a new deal.
Trent Alexander-Arnold has declined to sign a new deal, and he is expected to leave Liverpool on a free transfer to join European giants Real Madrid in the summer.
The right-back is a product of Liverpool’s academy and was seen as a future captain at Anfield. However, there are still suggestions that could do a U-turn at the last moment.

Trent Alexander-Arnold U-turn chances rated

Losing Alexander-Arnold in the summer will be a major blow for the club, as he was seen as a future club legend and someone who would be difficult to replace.
Real Madrid have been certain about signing him since March, but no announcement has been made, and some claims have emerged that there could be a U-turn.
However, David Ornstein insisted that the expectation is that the defender will move to the Spanish capital, and indicated that some criticism of FSG is warranted for the way they bungled the negotiations with the right-back.
“It’s a different situation with Trent Alexander-Arnold”, Ornstein said on NBC Sports.
“The expectation is that he will leave for Real Madrid as a free agent at the end of the season.
“Perhaps some criticism for Liverpool, for FSG on that front, for leaving it late on a younger player who has come through the system here at Anfield.”
