Liverpool are on the verge of winning the Premier League title. The Reds players are preparing for a huge party once the 20th title is secured, but several of them won’t be part of it’s defence next season. One of them is already preparing for life beyond Anfield.
Arne Slot wants to revamp the squad in the summer transfer window, and the Reds are set to spend much more than £200m in the coming months.
The Liverpool manager wants to completely reconfigure the attack, which is likely to include the departure of Darwin Nunez, as he is not seen as the long-term solution for the club.
Nunez could leave as soon as the end of the season, but there is a completely different reason why he has not started a league game for the club since March.
Can you name the team Liverpool sold these players to?
The Reds do not want to pay any more money for Nunez

Liverpool paid an upfront fee of €75m, excluding bonuses, to buy the Uruguayan striker from Benfica in the summer of 2022.
However, he has scored just 40 goals in 138 games for the Reds, which has been deemed not good enough for a forward who cost the club a lot of money.
According to Portuguese daily A Bola, Benfica have received another €10m of a potential €25m as bonuses from his sale to Liverpool.
The Merseyside giants paid €5m once the striker started ten games in the Premier League and the Champions League, and another €5m when he made 25 starts in the two competitions.
They are scheduled to pay another €5m to Benfica if he were to make another 25 starts in the two competitions, and he is one short of hitting that figure.
However, Nunez has not started a league game since March, and if he doesn’t get into the starting eleven in the last five league games, the Reds would not have to pay that extra fee.
With the striker almost certain to leave Liverpool in the summer, it seems the club are keen to save that extra €5m.
