Latest reports on Bellingham
CBS Sports Journalist Ben Jacobs has given an update on the situation on Twitter, claiming Real Madrid are confident in securing Bellingham.
“Real are confident in signing Jude Bellingham next summer, although Dortmund sporting director Sebastian Kehl is still intent on offering a new deal after the World Cup.
“Bellingham’s contract expires in 2025. Real believe they can sign him for under £100m without an extension.
“But am told Bellingham has not ‘picked’ Real just yet. He’s keeping his options open. Definitely a move that’s of appeal, but Liverpool and Manchester City still very much involved in an open race. Erling Haaland has already told him to join.”
🤩 “Jude Bellingham has the world at his feet & has a major stage at the World Cup.”

Bellingham’s recent England performances
His recent performances for England next to Declan Rice have been brilliant and his qualities are being recognised on a wider scale, especially by fans in England who don’t regularly watch German Football.
According to WhoScored, Bellingham has the highest average rating across the England squad in 2022. He now looks certain to play a big role at the World Cup for his country.
He displayed an all-round midfield performance with 41 completed passes, 67 touches, 6 touches in the opposition box, 8 duels won, 3 tackles won, 3 interceptions and 3 fouls won.
This has shown that he’s more than capable of being a leading man and even at 19, he’s shown a great combination of maturity but also that youthful confidence that helps him to do things that others can’t.
