"That's a joke" - Jurgen Klopp was left incensed by this moment during win over Arsenal

Liverpool uploaded a video to their YouTube channel and a clip from the upload shows the moment Jurgen Klopp lost his cool with referee Stuart Atwell.

The Reds took full advantage of Chelsea and Spurs dropping points when they beat Arsenal 3-0 at the weekend and if West Ham and Everton fail to win this evening, it will be the perfect gameweek.

Chelsea lost 2-5 to West Brom while Spurs drew 2-2 with Newcastle United. Everton take on Crystal Palace before West Ham face Wolves this evening.

After the ball sprang free, Thiago Alcantara snapped into a challenge with Alexandre Lacazette and accidentally trod on his toes after winning the ball. Referee Stuart Atwell awarded a free-kick to the Gunners after the French forward screamed in pain before writhing around on the pitch.

Klopp was incensed as he screamed at the match official: "That's a joke! That's a joke!."

It wasn't the first time in the game that the Arsenal forward conned the ref into awarding a cheap free-kick as the North Londoners struggled to beat the intense Liverpool press.

Klopp's side was relentless with the way they choked Mikel Arteta's side high up the field.

The win took Liverpool to within two points of the top four and although a trip to Spain to face Real Madrid in the Champions League will interrupt their domestic momentum somewhat, their next game in the Premier League is against Aston Villa at Anfield.

The game will give the Merseysiders the chance to correct their terrible home form as well as get revenge on Villa for their 7-2 embarrassment earlier this season.
