Exclusive: Manchester United ready to poach clinical forward from Liverpool

Days after Liverpool told Fatawu Issahaku directly that they would not deal with him unless he changed his representation, Manchester United have contacted him with an improved proposal.

On Sunday, we reported that with clubs being warned about his agents by FIFA, Liverpool issued the player an ultimatum, threatening to walk away from a deal if he didn't find himself new agents.

It's a bold move from the Reds given how talented he is but it's not an empty threat from a club that doesn't tolerate dodgy agents after having to work closely with Kia Joorabchian and Sports Invest UK Ltd. during the Philippe Coutinho saga.

Of course, the British agent isn't so much dodgy as he tells his clients to use underhand tactics to get what they want.

Anfield Central has now learnt that with Liverpool holding Issahaku at arm's length until they hear word on his decision on his agent, Manchester United have stepped in and told the player they are willing to help him find new representation.

They've recommended Promoesport and Triple S Sports Entertainment as two they've enjoyed working with. Eric Bailly and Adama Traore are represented by the former while the latter represents both Harry Maguire and 22-year-old James Garner.

It's a smart move from United as making a decision on who to represent you at such a young age is a huge decision and one that isn't easy to make.

The Steadfast FC footballer has an important week ahead of him as the two biggest clubs in England are going head to head to sign him and whoever recruits him will then send him on loan as new laws make acquiring a work permit for a 17-year-old foreign player virtually impossible.
