Liverpool favourites to land €50million future superstar after huge update from Gianluca Di Marzio

Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Liverpool target Aurelien Tchouameni prefers a move to the Premier League over joining PSG.

The Reds are in the driving seat to secure his signature this summer and with every new report and update on his future, the chances of him moving to Anfield grow stronger.

It was first reported by Foot Mercato that Liverpool are serious about challenging Real Madrid to sign him, who reportedly have trouble meeting his wage demands as well as the price tag demanded by AS Monaco.

The Ligue 1 club wants over €50million (£42m) to sell him and with Kylian Mbappe expected to arrive at the Santiago Bernabeu this summer and Carlo Ancelotti satisfied with his midfield options, Liverpool look more and more likely to sign Tchouameni.

Now, Gianluca Di Marzio has told German website WettFreunde, via GFFN, that Tchouameni prefers a move to the Premier League over a switch to PSG.

The Frenchman is expected to leave AS Monaco this summer although his contract only expires in 2024.

Liverpool will be boosted by the news that the French star prefers a move to the Premier League as that should make them favourites as Manchester United, a side previously reported as being heavily interested, are set to miss out on Champions League football for next season.

Jurgen Klopp's side is arguably the most exciting to join given the success they've had and are currently enjoying under the German so a young player like Tchouameni should be excited about the thought of joining the Reds.

He would be able to play and develop alongside the likes of Fabinho and Thiago, who should be able to teach him all he needs to know to reach a world-class level.
