Liverpool ready to pay €59m monster €134/week to complete deal for next summer

Liverpool are reportedly prepared to pay Franck Kessie €134,000/week or £115,000/week to get the Ivorian on a Bosman next summer.

According to Corriere dello Sport, via Paisley Gates, Liverpool are prepared to 'agree a contract worth seven million euros a year i.e. around £115,000-a-week [€134,000/week].

His contract with the Rossoneri expires next summer and as Liverpool look for opportunities to exploit in the transfer market, they could take advantage of AC Milan allowing his contract to reach this point.

Transfermarkt values Ivory Coast's monster midfielder Kessie at €59million and to sign him for free in a year would be sensational.

While Liverpool could still sign a new midfielder before the end of the summer, signing the 24-year-old for free next year would make a lot of fans forget not signing one this summer.

The AC Milan star is a fantastic player and paying him £115/week isn't a massive ask given that he's set to enter his prime.

While signing Kessie in 2022 would be a great coup, it doesn't mean that Liverpool don't need a new midfield recruit this summer.

Not signing a Georginio Wijnaldum replacement will put a lot of pressure on Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to remain fit.

Both have looked sharp in pre-season but that has been the case in the past and Liverpool fans have been let down with injuries shortly after the start of the new season.
