Liverpool in-line for stunning January agreement for ‘world-class’ midfielder – talks ongoing

Liverpool could be in line to agree a stunning deal for Jude Bellingham by as early as January.

The Reds have been strongly linked with a move for the midfielder and reports suggest progress behind the scenes.

Having already signed Darwin Nunez – a highly coveted target – in quick fashion they could do the same here.

Fans could be watching Thiago and Bellingham link-up next season if Liverpool keep progressing.

Latest reports on Bellingham

Last week, the latest reports from Football Insider claimed that the Merseysiders are working on an early deal to sign the England international midfielder in the summer of 2023.

However, they will face extreme competition from all of Europe’s elite including Manchester City and Real Madrid.

The same news source has revealed that a deal could be struck in a matter of weeks.

It is reported that Liverpool are willing to secure an agreement that would see the 19-year-old move to Anfield as early as January.

Is Bellingham needed?

We believe so; Liverpool may have had great success in the last five years but they’ve only won one Champions League and one Premier League since 2018.

Whereas City have won three out of the last four Premier League titles.

If Liverpool want to take that next step to dominate, Bellingham must be brought in. Especially considering that the likes of Jordan Henderson, James Milner, Thiago and Naby Keita are all ageing and susceptible to knocks.

Bellingham would be a guaranteed starter and could allow Liverpool to play a two or three man midfield and offer flexibility, quality and higher output from midfield which could be the difference between winning or losing the title.
