"I told her 'don't do that'": Jurgen Klopp told Pep Guardiola what his wife did at The Etihad

Jurgen Klopp appeared to tell Pep Guardiola after fulltime that he wasn't too happy with his wife, Ulla Sandrock, watching the game from the stands after an incident at Old Trafford.

Manchester City and Liverpool played out an enthralling 2-2 draw that has left the Premier League title race wide open heading into the final fixtures of the season.

For either side to win the title, they will need to be perfect between now and the end of the season with just one point separating the two teams.

Manchester City lead the pack on 74 points while Liverpool will be snapping at their heels as always as they sit on 73 points with 7 games left to play.

With the Etihad showdown of such importance, it's no surprise that players and staff will have brought their families to the game but it would appear that Jurgen Klopp couldn't convince his wife, Ulla, to not sit in the stands.

Speaking to Pep after the match, he was asked by the Man City coach where his family was before pointing at the stands.

Klopp said: "No, I know, I told her 'don't do that' because against United she was in the crowd and got an elbow and now, she wanted to go there."

Liverpool fans will love the sound of Ulla Sandrock not being overly worried about having to stand her ground when travelling to watch the Reds particularly as she seems to have refused the option of watching from a private box.

Klopp is one of the most down to earth managers in the world so it comes as no surprise that he would be married to someone very much like him.
