Amid talk of a blockbuster €120million Liverpool move, interesting development increases speculation

Jude Bellingham was spotted on social media by fans liking Fabio Carvalho’s post as he celebrated signing for Liverpool over the weekend.

The Borussia Dortmund midfielder has been strongly linked with a move away from Germany as Bellingham finds himself a highly coveted target for the elite clubs in Europe.

With over 130,000 people liking Fabio Carvalho’s post, Bellingham was a fan of the 19-year-old's move to Merseyside.

The timing of Bellingham's like coincides with the recent speculation that he is a 'top' transfer target for the Reds.

The likes of Neco Williams, Rhys Williams and Harvey Elliot all commented their best wishes, with a whole host of companies, brands, pundits, and players all wishing him well.

But it was a like from Bellingham that got fans excited, with the pair knowing each other from the England youth set-up over the years.

Whilst a like in this day and age is commonplace, it got Liverpool fans excited about a possible link-up in the future.

The 19-year-old enjoyed another brilliant season in Germany, as he has already found himself as a key player at one of Europe’s biggest clubs.

He managed six goals and 14 assists across 43 games in all competitions last season and has become an England regular too.

This has attracted attention from Europe’s elite, with Liverpool, Manchester United, Real Madrid and more.

However, according to James Pearce at The Athletic, Bellingham won’t be going anywhere until next summer: “He won’t be leaving Borussia Dortmund this summer. Having already sold Erling Haaland to Manchester City, the Bundesliga club don’t intend to lose another star name in the same window.

“There will be serious competition for Bellingham’s signature in 2023. Real Madrid, Chelsea and Manchester United are also in the race, with reports in Germany this week suggesting it would take €120 million (£103 million) to sign him."

He added: “Bellingham doesn’t have a release clause and has three years left on his contract.

“Liverpool will certainly be in the conversation, and it helps that Bellingham has a good relationship with captain Jordan Henderson from their time together with England.

“I don’t think that fee would scare Liverpool off as you’re talking about a player who could be at the heart of their midfield for a decade. However, the wage demands could be a potential stumbling block.”
