Norwich City fans will be delighted to hear that some of their key players have been involved in training ahead of Liverpool’s trip to Carrow Road.

I can hardly believe the Premier League is back after being gone for almost three months but it’s here now and fans are frothing with excitement.

Norwich blew the Championship away last season and are hoping to break their cycle of yo-yo-ing between England’s two top divisions by staying in the Premier League for at least one season.

They’ve bought well and their best signing on paper is Milot Rashica from Werder Bremen, arriving for £9.4m (£11m) and he could feature against the Reds this evening.

After his COVID-19 isolation period ended, he joined training and is in contention to face the Reds as is Norwich City’s undisputed star Todd Cantwell.

The 23-year-old suffered an ankle ligament strain but is now in training and could face Liverpool when they visit this evening but Daniel Farke will make a late decision on the midfielder.

Grant Hanley was also back in training and if he starts it will be crucial for the Canaries as they look to defy the odds and return to the Premier League with a win.

Meanwhile, Liverpool will be hoping to get their attack on Manchester City’s title as Premier League champions underway with a win and will hope to avoid injuries of their own.
