Liverpool’s season is coming to an end and it’s that time of the year when fans on social media show their creativity with concept kits and the latest one is a banger.
This season’s kits, the first of the Nike x Liverpool era, are quite nice but nothing special in my opinion.
I like the teal on the home kit, the away kit is ugly and the third is nice but, again, nothing spectacular. It’s often the case that fan-made concepts are way better than what the likes of Nike end up producing.
This may be the case again with Liverpool fan @LFC92 from Twitter designing a beautiful and unique home kit concept that I’d love to see worn by Virgil van Dijk and the like.

Given that Liverpool are certain to enjoy a better time next season when van Dijk and Joe Gomez are fully fit, it would be great to see Liverpool wearing a top-notch kit that actually seems as though some thought was put into it.
The biggest criticism I have of Nike is that they seem to design very similar jerseys for all the teams that they produce for. This concept kind of fits that predictable mould but the simple white design with gold and black bands around the neck and arms would look so slick.
Unfortunately, Liverpool are unlikely to be in the Champions League next season so the patches on the sleeve would need to be abandoned but that’s not this designer’s fault.
