Andy Robertson has returned to training despite suffering ankle ligament damage just nine days ago.

The Scotsman really is an incredible player but even the most optimistic supporter would not have hoped to see him back in training within 10 days.

Robbo suffered what looked to be an awful injury on first viewing – my initial thought was that he had broken his ankle – but he suffered minor ligament damage.

He certainly will not be in contention to face Burnley this weekend and likely won’t be considered to face Chelsea either.

Jurgen Klopp could throw him straight back in though if he’s given the all-clear from the Liverpool medical staff.
