Stunning Rennes talent Jeremy Doku has been already been photoshopped into Liverpool’s home kit after his strongest link to Anfield yet.

The Belgian was linked with a move to Liverpool last week by Voetbal24 and in an attempt to verify the story’s authenticity, the Anfield Talk reached out to Sacha Tavolieri.

He’s considered to be reliable for news on Belgian football after breaking the story on Lukaku to Chelsea.

He says Liverpool want Doku this summer but will be required to spend €50million to sign him while he also told LFC Transfer Room that talks are underway with the player’s agency.

Signing Doku is exactly what’s needed

The 19-year-old only scored four goals last season but he got 8 assists for Rennes, according to stats from Transfermarkt, and he seems similar to Sadio Mane.

Not only is he very explosive, but the way he pauses and waits for defenders to dive in before skipping past them is also very similar to the Liverpool no.10.

Mane played for Southampton before signing for the Reds and had Premier League experience which does make this move a little bit riskier for Liverpool.

The club has been tracking him for a long time and they may make a decision that the data that they have collected suggests he’s worth the gamble.

Plus, he looks really good in Red…
