Darwin Nunez is extremely close to joining Liverpool and his activity on Twitter further underlines how advanced his move to Anfield is.
Liverpool have reached an agreement with Benfica to sign the 22-year-old for a total package worth as much as €100million.
He will sign a six-year contract once he passes a medical but after Benfica confirmed the agreement with Liverpool, Nunez has been on Twitter further confirming he is set to join the Reds.
Nunez scored 34 goals last season and with Erling Haaland now a Manchester City player, there is going to be fierce competition between the two to make the biggest impact.
Liverpool and City have been going head to head the last four years and with their points since the start of the 2018/19 season virtually identical, that should continue for another few years at least.
