Newcastle lead the race to sign Premier League forward

Newcastle are not only confident of holding on to Isak, but they want to sign one more forward to bolster their attacking options next season.

According to TEAMTalk, the Magpies are leading the race to sign one of the top Liverpool targets in the upcoming summer transfer window.

It has been claimed that Newcastle are pushing to sign Bryan Mbeumo, who will be leaving Brentford at the end of the season.

He has scored 18 Premier League goals this season, and is seen as one of the top marksmen who is not playing for one of the bigwigs of the Premier League.

Liverpool have been eyeing a move for him since last year, and are still interested in getting their hands on him this summer.

Manchester United are also interested in Mbeumo, but Liverpool’s key threat is coming from Newcastle, who have the edge in this chase ahead of the summer.
