Anfield has been ranked as the top Premier League stadium according to a recent study by Protectivity, an event insurance specialist. The ranking is based on Google reviews of all current Premier League stadiums, as well as those of recently relegated clubs.
The study found that Anfield, home to Liverpool FC, received an impressive 86.99% five-star reviews out of 45,171, resulting in an average rating of 4.7 out of 5. This high rating reflects the stadium’s exceptional fan experience, which includes not only Liverpool matches but also major events such as concerts by Taylor Swift and The Rolling Stones.
In second place is Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with an 84.33% five-star rating. This state-of-the-art venue recently hosted Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour. The City Ground, Nottingham Forest’s home, ranks third with an 80.76% five-star rating, known for its intense atmosphere since the club’s Premier League return in 2022.
Old Trafford, the largest Premier League stadium, is fourth with an 80.53% five-star rating, followed by Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium, which holds a 79.08% rating. The Emirates has also welcomed notable performances from Arctic Monkeys and The Killers.
On the lower end, Kenilworth Road, Luton Town’s ground, is the lowest-rated Premier League stadium with 62.21% five-star reviews. The unique Oak Stand entrance, which involves walking over a garden, remains a memorable feature despite its lower rating.
Sean Walsh from Protectivity commented on the findings, noting that high ratings often indicate a great fan experience, including comfortable seating and a strong sense of community. He suggested that lower-rated stadiums could learn from top-rated ones to enhance their facilities and services.
