Liverpool’s perfect record in the Premier League has been a thing of envy. Rival managers have been declared the title fight to be already decided. With five wins in as many games, the English giants are currently five-points clear of their nearest rivals.

New and improved contract for Liverpool star midfielder

Ryan Gravenberch has been solid in the midfield this campaign having 3 goals contributions in the league. The Dutchman currently earns around £187,500-a-week at Anfield and was described as world class by club and country teammate Virgil Van Djik.

According to talkSPORT, Liverpool will be looking to tie him down for a longer spell at the club. The Merseyside club are hoping to reward him for his impressive displays since joining the club.

His current deal expires in 2028 and there is no imminent danger of him leaving anytime soon. Gravenberch the club from Bayern Munich for a fee of £35m in 2023 and is still on the same deal. A new contract will likely breach the £200,000-a-week mark.

Liverpool had a busy summer window, bringing in several players like Florian Wirtz, Alexander Isak, Hugo Ekitike among others, but it will be equally important to keep their current crop of players together.

The Dutchman has started in five games in all competitions scoring twice while turning providing two times. His scoring boots were on display in the Merseyside derby, as he superbly finished off from Mohamed Salah’s pass, significantly raising his stocks at the club.
