Mohamed Salah doesn’t hold back when it comes to breaking records at Liverpool. The Egyptian king has been stacking achievements left and right since moving to Anfield.
Despite rumours of the Egyptian leaving Liverpool, the winger signed a two-year extension last season, keeping him in Merseyside till 2027.
It will be hard to replace the North African, but a Frenchman has been identified for the job. Salah, on the other hand, has received a surprise interest from Spanish giants Real Madrid.
Xabi Alonso would like to sign the winger for free after the expiration of his contract. If the Nagrig native does decide to make a move to Spain, it might very well be his last big club as he’ll be 35 at the time.
For Liverpool, though, English-born French attacker Micahel Olise is proving to be a difficult prey to hunt down. Bayern Munich is set to increase the Frenchman’s salary to avoid a move from the Allianz Arena.
However, they are open to talks if their valuation is met. The 23-year-old has been rated at around £100m by the Bavarians. It is uncertain if Arne Slot will be keen on that money, but his appetite this summer has proved otherwise.

Mohamed Salah broke another UEFA Champions League record today

With the end of the UEFA Champions League clash against Atlético de Madrid, Mohamed Salah has surpassed Steven Gerrard in yet another record.
The former Reds made 73 Champions League appearances for the Reds throughout his career. For Salah, on the other hand, this will be his 74th outing against the Spanish outfit.
The Egyptian is already the third-highest goalscorer in the club’s history, but with only two seasons left on his contract, it will be difficult to surpass Ian Rush.
However, Jamie Carragher only stands UCL six appearances away, which is a very breakable record in the time Salah has left at Anfield.
There is a different continental record, though, where the 33-year-old shines. He has scored 45 goals for Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League.
Steven Gerrard comes in second as the Englishman scored 30. This record will be a difficult one to surpass, as there is a huge difference between the top scorer and the second-highest.
£125m Alexander Isak is among the few signings who’ll be expected to reach a respectable number. Michal Olise will also join with huge expectations if £100m were to be paid for the attacker.
