Manchester United fans have been ridiculed for their public mistake before the Liverpool match last night which saw them attack the wrong bus.
Fans have had a habit in recent years of upsetting the away team’s bus as it enters the stadium grounds in the hope of disrupting preparations for the away side.
Liverpool themselves have often done this on big Champions League nights as they hope to distract the opposing team.
However, it backfired last night for United as the fans made a grave mistake.

What happened pre-match?
Fans were rallying outside the stadium at Old Trafford where Man United fans were videoed chanting “murderers” and throwing bottles at an incoming bus – thought to belong to Liverpool.
However, in a shock twist, it turned out that the bus United fans were attacking was filled with young Man United supporters.
As quoted by the Bus company (Beeline VIP coaches), “Many thanks you idiots, we were bringing a group of kids to the game (Manchester United Fans) all were frightened to death. Where were the Greater Manchester Police when we needed you to keep the coach and kids safe ???”
Fans got to see their side triumph over Liverpool at Old Trafford for the first time in four years thanks to goals from Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford but United were helped by a poor Liverpool performance.
Next up for the Reds is Bournemouth at home whilst United take on Southampton away.
In what was a moment of madness and a moment in which you could not make up, United fans have some serious explaining and apologising to do to groups of their own supporters.
The coach arriving at Old Trafford that Man United fans were videoed chanting "murderers" and throwing bottles at – was full of young Man United supporters.
