Liverpool to sign ‘explosive’ Champions League winner at a discounted price

Liverpool are on their way to winning the Premier League title this season, but work is underway behind the scenes to back Arne Slot in the summer transfer window. The Reds boss wants to bring in new forwards, and one of their targets could be available for a discounted price.

Slot wants to change the makeup of his attack ahead of next season, with players such as Darwin Nunez, Diogo Jota and Luis Diaz expected to be sold.

The Liverpool manager is in favour of bringing in more energetic and young forwards to complement Mohamed Salah, but the club are not against the idea of adding more experience to the squad as well.

Liverpool have been tracking several wide forwards ahead of the window, and it has emerged that one of their potential targets could be available for a smaller fee than anticipated.

Club set a dual asking price for Reds target

Liverpool are prepared to sell Luis Diaz in the summer, and Bayern Munich’s Kingsley Coman has emerged as one of his potential replacements.

The Frenchman is expected to move on from the Bavarians this summer, and the German giants have already set an asking price for him.

According to German broadcaster Sky Deutschland, Bayern Munich are prepared to sell Coman to an English club for a fee of around €40m.

The German giants are ready to raise the demands for Coman to €60m if Saudi Arabian clubs approach the winger in the upcoming window.

The winger will have to make a financial sacrifice if he is to join Liverpool, as he will earn much more money if he agrees to join a Saudi club in the summer.
