Liverpool to table bid for midfield superstar

Xavi Simons has emerged as a top target for the Liverpool manager, who wants to add his creative genius to his team ahead of the start of next season.
RB Leipzig signed him on a permanent deal in the winter window, and are prepared to turn a quick profit by selling him in the summer transfer window.
According to the Empire of the Kop, the Merseyside giants are prepared to table a massive initial offer for the Dutch star in the coming weeks and months.
Liverpool’s first offer for Simons is expected to be around the £51m mark, which would be a major first offer for the player in the next window.
Slot believes the presence of Virgil van Dijk, Ryan Gravenberch and Cody Gakpo will convince the player to move to Anfield this summer.
However, Leipzig are expected to reject that offer, and are likely to hold out for a fee in the region of £60m to £70m.
