Liverpool are on the verge of winning the Premier League title, but big plans are in place to complete a reshaping of the squad in the summer. The board are prepared to back Arne Slot’s vision and spend big in the next window to take the team to the next level.
The Liverpool manager is pushing for a major overhaul of the squad, with his focus on ensuring that he has a completely new-look attack at his disposal next season.
Slot has lost his patience with Darwin Nunez, who has not started a league game since March, and wants to bring in a new number 9 in the summer transfer window.
Liverpool are also looking at defensive and midfield reinforcements, but the club have been tipped to sign two players for certain that would smash their spending record.
Can you name these 10 former Premier League players?
Liverpool tipped to complete mega double deal

Alexander Isak and Milos Kerkez have been heavily linked with a move to Anfield in the next summer transfer window.
While Isak is likely to be a more complicated deal, Liverpool believe they are in a decent position to sign Kerkez from Bournemouth in the upcoming months.
However, Richard Keys, a veteran broadcaster, believes the arrival of those two players is more than just certainty at this stage. But he insisted that it won’t be enough for the Reds to defend their Premier League title.
“And I’d say this to Slot – re-signing van Dijk and Salah is NOT like signing two new players. It’s the right thing to do, but if Liverpool are going to be competitive next season, they’ll need proper new signings”, Keys wrote on his personal blog.
“Two certs [certainties] are Isak and Kerkez, but that won’t be enough either.”
