Liverpool sporting director Richard Huges is working on multiple parallel deals as the club look to reinforce a title-winning squad. He has been talking to several agents, and it seems he is working on a complicated swap deal that would see the Reds signing an ex-Everton star.
The Merseyside giants are looking to bring in several players to satisfy the demands of Arne Slot ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window.
The Liverpool manager wants a fresh-looking forward line at his disposal next season and is keen to end the team’s overdependence on Mo Salah for goals and assists.
The Reds have been looking at several centre-forwards and wide attackers, and the club are working on a sensational swap deal to land a top target this summer.

Hughes is prepared to be more creative to ensure Liverpool land the players they want, and are is keen to push the envelope on certain signings.
According to Italian daily Quotidiano Sportivo, Everton are pushing hard to convince Atalanta to sell former Everton winger Ademola Lookman this summer.
They wanted to sign him last year, but Atalanta refused to sell, and the Reds opted to sign Federico Chiesa from Juventus.
Chiesa is expected to move on from the Reds, and Liverpool are prepared to offer him to Atalanta as part of a deal to take Lookman back to Merseyside.
The Serie A outfit have slapped a £51m price tag on Lookman, but Liverpool do not want to pay such a figure for the former Toffee.
The Reds hope that the inclusion of Chiesa in the deal will bring down the price and help them land Lookman for a small initial outlay.
Lookman, who flopped at Everton, wants to return to England and prove himself in the Premier League.
