Liverpool have been tipped to not finish inside the top four by former a former Premier League champion citing Sadio Mane’s loss as a key factor.
The Reds waved farewell to one of their star man in the Jurgen Klopp era as the Senegalese winger left for Bayern Munich.
Luis Diaz has been electric since his debut and has become the first-choice left winger.
However, former Chelsea, Tottenham and Arsenal player William Gallas has made the startling revelation that he doesn’t believe that Liverpool will finish in the top four.

Gallas’ comments
The former two-time Premier League champion has spoken out following the opening weekend of the PL.
He’s predicted that Liverpool could miss out due to Mane leaving for Munich – citing it as a major reason why they won’t finish in the top four.
“As an ex-London player, I have to say Chelsea, Arsenal or Tottenham to win the Premier League,” he told Genting Casino. “On top four, Liverpool can miss out because they don’t have Sadio Mane anymore and Diaz does not have the same impact.
“Liverpool always concede goals too, like we saw against Fulham. Even if I like how Liverpool play, I think it will be City, Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham.”

Dias’ impact in Red
Following his January signing from Porto earlier this year, Dias has settled into life on Merseyside incredibly swiftly, becoming a fan favourite for his electric pace and South American style of play.
There was no doubting his impact from January onwards breathed new life into Liverpool’s season, as they so nearly completed a famous quadruple.
He even helped to elevate the team during a period where star man Mohamed Salah had fallen out of form and combined brilliantly with Mane to fire Liverpool through the Champions League knockout rounds.
Having hit the post and scored an offside against Fulham, there’s no doubt he will cause major problems against any PL full-back he comes up against – but the consistency of his attacking play will be under the microscope during what is his first full season in England.
