Liverpool have made a few stunning moves in the market already, and are keen to get more business done in the coming weeks and months going into the new season. However, the Reds have a big decision to make on the future of a top star who has attracted serious interest this summer.
The Merseyside giants have shown they are prepared to turbocharge the squad’s evolution this summer after winning the Premier League last season under Arne Slot.
Their pursuit of Florian Wirtz shows the club’s ambition in the ongoing transfer window, but Liverpool are also aware that they need to move on a few players for decent fees to balance their books.

The Reds take a tough stance on the money they want, which will shock the European giant

Liverpool have been hit by headlines this week, surrounding the future of Luis Diaz, who has admitted that he is talking to other clubs this summer.
The Reds rebuffed Barcelona’s approach earlier this week, but the Catalan giants have not gone away and expect the forward to push for a move to the Nou Camp.
However, the bad news for Barcelona is the money Liverpool want if they decide to sell the Colombian.
Journalist Pete O’Rourke has claimed that Liverpool will demand as much as £70m for Diaz, which will complicate matters for Barcelona and create a fertile ground for an approach from Saudi Arabia.
“I don’t see how Barcelona could afford him, unless there’s some major changes going on there”, he told Football Insider.
“Financially, they’re probably looking at around £60m plus, £70m for Luis Diaz – his reputation has only been enhanced [since] moving to Liverpool from Porto.
“He’s won the Premier League title. He’s been a regular for Colombia as well.
“If Saudi Pro League clubs do come calling for Diaz, then maybe Liverpool could drive up that asking price to get as much as they possibly can.”
