Liverpool are Premier League champions, and work is underway behind the scenes to bolster their squad options for next season. Arne Slot wants the club to be audacious in the summer window, and they are set to beat German giants Bayern Munich to the signature of a top young talent.
The Merseyside giants are prepared to back Arne Slot and his vision for the squad in the upcoming summer transfer window, and big plans are in place.
Liverpool sporting director Richard Hughes has been holding talks with players’ representatives and intermediaries, and a few deals have already been lined up.
The Reds are set to benefit from the early work they have done, and even Bayern Munich are struggling to compete with Liverpool in the transfer market.

Bayern Munich cannot stop the defender from moving to Anfield

Liverpool want defensive reinforcements this summer, and several centre-backs are being watched ahead of the summer transfer window.
However, Dean Huijsen is the top defensive target, and Hughes has had advanced talks with his representatives over a deal to take him to Anfield for a fee of £50m.
According to German broadcaster Sky Deutschland, Bayern Munich are also interested in him, and he is one of the first names on their shortlist of targets for the next transfer window.
However, the Bavarians cannot make meaningful progress in talks to sign him as they need to wait to lose a centre-back first in the summer.
Liverpool have gained a significant edge in the chase to sign Huijsen, and are expected to get a deal over the line to take him to Anfield in the coming months.
They can also choose to pay the £50m clause in three instalments as per the terms of his contract with Bournemouth.
