Slot wants his own stamp on his squad ahead of next season, and is pushing the board to carry out a major overhaul of the squad in the next transfer window.

According to TEAMTalk, Liverpool are set to spend upwards of £200m in the next window to bolster the squad this summer.

The Merseyside giants have not spent much in the last few transfer windows, and have the money to blow teams out of the market in the coming months.

Liverpool will spend much more than that figure if Slot successfully manages to sell the players he wants to move on in the coming transfer window.

As things stand, the next summer is set to become by far the most expensive transfer window in the club’s history as the board seem finally ready to back Slot.
