However, one departure is going to be a little more unusual, as according to Relevo, Real Madrid now want to sign Trent Alexander-Arnold in June.

The European giants will be in the Club World Cup in June, and they want the defender in the squad for the big global tournament.

However, Alexander-Arnold will remain contracted to Liverpool until 30th June, and Real Madrid would have to pay a fee to the Reds to work out an unusual deal for an early exit.

They have been preparing to sign him on a free transfer, and he is almost certain to leave Liverpool in the summer.

However, the Alexander-Arnold saga has one more twist with Real Madrid now considering paying a fee to the Reds to get him early next month.
