Liverpool could use Ibrahima Konate’s agent to sign Saul, Marko Grujic could help them in a deal to sign Domenico Berardi and Alisson Becker will sign a new five-year contract soon.
LFC have ‘a card to exploit’ in Berardi pursuit
According to Sassuolo News, Liverpool might have a card to exploit in the pursuit of Berardi but the Italian could cost €50million.
They can use their interest in Marko Grujic as a way to engineer a move for the EURO 2020 winner.
Berardi told Gazzetta dello Sport in 2019, via the Daily Mail: “Being able to choose, I would play in Liverpool. Changing remains difficult for me, but it no longer frightens me, I would do it.”
Gini could soon speak about Liverpool exit
Now that the European Championships are over, we could soon learn from Georginio Wijnaldum why he never renewed his Liverpool contract.
The Dutchman has joined Paris Saint-Germain on a free contract and, according to De Telegraaf, he will earn £160,000 per week after tax.
Before the start of this summer’s EURO tournament, he told ESPN Netherlands that the reason for his exit will soon come out.
Liverpool can use agent to sign Saul
Having signed Ibrahima Konate from RB Leipzig through ICM Stellar Sports, the Reds can now use that relationship to sign Saul.
Liverpool could, and this is just my opinion, have the upper hand after their deal to sign Ibrahima Konate as they developed a relationship with agent Joshua Barnett of ICM Stellar Sports.
Sporting director Michael Edwards can leverage this newfound connection to bring Saul to Anfield to fill the hole that Wijnaldum left by moving to PSG.
Sanches to Barca could mean Saul to LFC
AS claims that Renato Sanches could join Barcelona on loan with an obligation to buy which would open the door for Liverpool to sign Saul.
Diario AS reports that Renato Sanches could join Barcelona on loan for a year with an obligatory purchase option.
The Portuguese is reportedly valued at €40million and Barcelona could help Liverpool sign Saul by snapping up Sanches.
Romano confirms Liverpool bid for Saul
The Italian took to his YouTube channel to give the latest update on the Saul, Griezmann and Felix merry go round.
Anfield Central covered the ins and outs of the saga in detail on Saturday so you can read more on that here but we have confirmation that Liverpool have made a move to sign Saul.
This comes from Fabrizio Romano, who only really puts his stamp of approval on transfer stories that are well underway.
Williams and Wilson to join pre-season
Liverpool have officially confirmed via their website that Neco Williams and Wilson will join the pre-season camp on Monday.
The Welsh duo has enjoyed a break from football after they were eliminated from the EUROs by Denmark in a Round of 16 clash which actually saw Wilson red-carded.
However, they are now set to join the Reds after they switched to a different training camp due to issues regarding the weather and the playing surface.
Liverpool contact Camavinga’s agent
Liverpool have made contact with Eduardo Camavinga and his representation, ICM Stellar Sports, as a deal to sign Saul stalls due to Barcelona intervention.
Crucially, with Manchester United preoccupied with negotiating a deal for Real Madrid’s Raphael Varane, there is a small window of opportunity regarding Rennes’ Eduardo Camavinga.
Anfield Central understands that Liverpool contacted Camavinga’s representation, who they have a strong relationship with after they brokered Ibou Konate’s move, and, after what was described as a ‘long, fruitful phone call’ with his agent, are seriously considering him as a target this summer.
Liverpool set to extend Alisson’s contract
Liverpool are in the final stages of contract talks with Alisson and will finalise his new personal terms in the next weeks, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Fabrizio Romano reported via Twitter: “Liverpool are set to complete the agreement with Alisson to extend his contract until June 2026. The agreement is at final stages.
“Final details and clauses expected to be fixed in the next weeks, then Alisson will sign his contract extension with LFC.”
