Liverpool have been linked with a move to sign Jeremy Doku, Andy Robertson’s injury is not as severe as first thought and Renato Sanches could join the Reds.
Andy Robertson injury update
James Pearce reports that Andy Robertson will miss the start of the 2021/22 Premier League season due to ankle ligament damage but will be back in a matter of weeks.
He wrote: “Thanks to everyone for the kind messages and support. Scan suggests nothing too major but there’s some ligament damage which will need to mend.
“I will be grafting every day so I can help the team again sooner rather than later. Good luck to the boys playing tonight #YNWA.”
Renato Sanches ‘could leave’ for Liverpool
According to Mohamed Toubache-Ter, Liverpool could be the next destination for Sanches but Lille will only let him leave for €42million.
Toubache-Ter, who Sport Witness says is reliable journalist, claims the 23-year-old ‘could leave for Liverpool’.
The Paris-based writer writes that the Lille board intends to ‘release’ Sanches this summer after his impressive displays for the Ligue 1 outfit on their route to winning the title last season.
Liverpool drop double transfer clue
Liverpool have dropped a massive double transfer hint and it looks like both Nat Phillips and Xherdan Shaqiri are on their way out this summer.
Yet, curiously, Nathaniel Phillips and Xherdan Shaqiri were not named in the squad and it seems that both are nearing transfers out of the club.

Goal’s Neil Jones reports that while there is “nothing imminent” for either Phillips or Shaqiri, both players are expected to leave the club and Liverpool decided not to risk them and left them out of the squad.
Liverpool considering move for Tchouamen
Liverpool are reportedly considering a move to sign 21-year-old Aurelien Tchouameni from AS Monaco, according to Corriere Dello Sport.
The Reds are now looking at France’s up and coming midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni from AS Monaco.
Juventus are reportedly interested in the 21-year-old but ‘even Liverpool are considering whether to invest in this guy that shows depth and personality.”
Xherdan Shaqiri open doors to signings
James Pearce confirms that Lyon are in for 29-year-old Xherdan Shaqiri and his departure is exactly what Liverpool need to make a new signing.
Previously, David Lynch told the Liverpool Echo’s Blood Red podcast that the main obstacle between the club and completing transfers is moving on non-homegrown players.
Lynch said: “They [Liverpool] need to offload a non-homegrown player, so Shaqiri would fit the bill for that.”
Saul shares Daragon Ball Z with Konate link
Saul and Ibrahima Konate share an agent and the midfielder has shared a very cryptic anime tweet that Liverpool fans have reacted to with huge excitement.
For those that aren’t familiar with the show, Goku was transforming from his regular state into a ‘Super Saiyan’ state and Konate shared this GIF with two Red dots, presumably to suggest that he was ready to go up a level with his new club.

The Spaniard has now sent some Liverpool fans into a frenzy on Twitter after a tweet he sent out and while it could have been a sponsored post or even a simple way to share what he was doing in his spare time, players know what they are doing.

Sport suggests that it will take £42.3million (€50m) to recruit Saul this summer but it’s doubtful Liverpool will offer that until they can actually sign him.
