Milos Kerkez has been identified as a long-term target by Liverpool since they decided that they need to bring in a successor to Andy Robertson.
There were recent suggestions that the club are having a rethink on the Hungarian, and were considering alternative targets ahead of the summer.
However, it seems the Reds are advancing on a deal to sign him, and are engaged in talks with Bournemouth to sign him in the next transfer window.
They are also in conversations with Kerkez’s representatives to finalise the terms of a contract for the defender.
