Liverpool are on the verge of winning the Premier League, but the club have no interest in resting on their laurels. Arne Slot wants more or less a new forward line for next season, and the Reds have started working on the manager’s vision for the team.
The Merseyside giants will celebrate winning the 20th title soon, but work is underway behind the scenes to ensure they are again in a position to retain the title and win more trophies next season.
Slot wants to carry out a radical reconfiguration of his attack this summer, which could see Darwin Nunez, Diogo Jota and Luis Diaz leaving the club in the next window.
Alexander Isak is the number 9 Liverpool want, and they are determined to get him. However, they have alternatives in mind, and one more name has been added to the shortlist.
Can you name the team Liverpool signed these players from?
The Reds eye another Premier League striker who has been sensational in the last few seasons

Newcastle are aware of the fact that getting Isak out of Newcastle would be complicated, and they don’t want to have a situation where they fail to sign a striker if the Swede doesn’t arrive.
Several strikers are being looked at, and according to Football Insider, Aston Villa’s Ollie Watkins has emerged as a target for the Reds in the summer.
Watkins has scored 15 times and registered 12 assists this season for Aston Villa, and has been their top marksman under Unai Emery.
However, the door could be open for him to leave if Villa sign Marcus Rashford on a permanent deal from Manchester United in the summer.
Villa could also be forced to sell a couple of high-value players in the next window to remain within their PSR limits, given the fact that they are likely to miss out on qualifying for the Champions League.
