Liverpool plot Mo Salah repeat signing

Liverpool are keeping tabs on wide forward as they remain worried about losing Mohamed Salah on a free transfer at the end of the season.

The Merseyside giants still hope Salah will agree to sign a new contract and extend his stay at the club beyond the end of the 2023/24 season.

However, there is no agreement in place between the two sides and Liverpool would not be doing their jobs if they were not actively looking at potential replacements for the talismanic Egyptian while continuing to negotiate with his representatives.

Liverpool are said to be interested in former Manchester City winger Leroy Sane who could leave Bayern Munich at the end of the season on a free transfer.

The Reds are also looking at younger targets but it has been claimed that one more former Premier League winger has emerged on their radar as a potential target next summer.

The club are eyeing raiding Serie A again to replace Salah

Salah was considered a flop at Chelsea before he moved to Italy and Liverpool plucked him out of Serie A in 2017, which has turned out to be one of the greatest transfer moves in the club’s history.

The Merseyside giants are trying to repeat the trick eight years later next summer when they are considering signing another ex-Chelsea flop from Italy.

According to Italian outlet Calciomercato.com, Liverpool are interested in getting their hands on AC Milan winger Christian Pulisic at the end of the season.

The United States international has been in sensational form this season and even scored against Liverpool in AC Milan’s 3-1 defeat in the Champions League earlier in the campaign.

His performances have piqued the interest of the Reds who are considering offering him a second chance in the Premier League in the near future.

However, other Premier League teams have their eyes on him as it has been claimed Manchester United and West Ham are also plotting a move.

Liverpool could offer him guaranteed Champions League football and a more stable environment compared to Manchester United and West Ham.

A move in January has not been ruled out if a club are prepared to offer a figure north of the €60m figure to AC Milan in the winter window.
