Liverpool sporting director Richard Hughes and the rest of the recruitment team are very much still shaping the club’s plans for the summer. Several players are being looked at, but the Reds are also making some firm decisions on certain potential targets.
The Merseyside giants are set to bring in a new signing even before the season ends, but the club still have other major priorities in the market.
Hughes and manager Arne Slot are clear about what they want. The Reds are targeting a centre-back, a left-back and a prolific number 9 to enhance the team.
Liverpool have also been linked with several wide forwards and number 10s, and a major decision has been made on signing one of those potential targets.
Name the team Liverpool signed these players from in the 2010s?
The Reds perform a U-turn on most-wanted winger

Rayan Cherki has had a brilliant season at Lyon, and with only a year left on his contract, he is set to move on from the French giants this summer.
Manchester United and Newcastle United are interested in signing him, and Liverpool have also been keeping tabs on the winger, who wants to move to Anfield.
However, Liverpool have other priorities in the market and are currently invested in trying to sign Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen in the next window.
Cherk is admired at Liverpool, but journalist Christian Falk has indicated that they are not expected to sign the Frenchman this summer.
“There’s no real news about Cherki and Liverpool”, he told CaughtOffSide.
This would give a boost to Manchester United and Newcastle, who are keen to get their hands on the young winger in the next transfer window.
Lyon are expected to sell for a relatively small fee of £19m.
