Liverpool will face strong competition from their European rivals in Real Madrid for the signature of Jude Bellingham next summer.
The Borussia Dortmund midfielder is one of the most sought-after talents in the world with the Reds holding a strong interest in the player.
Madrid want him to help replace their ageing midfield with Luka Modric, Toni Kroos and Casimero all in their thirties.
Competing against Madrid’s pulling power will be extremely difficult for Liverpool having already lost out on Aurélien Tchouaméni to Madrid earlier this summer.

According to Fabrizio Romano on the Here We Go Podcast, that next summer will see Bellingham looking to leave Germany.
“Jurgen Klopp in the last 24 hours said that he was a fantastic player and everything but he is not on the market,” Romano told the podcast.
“The reality is that Liverpool, immediately after missing out on Aurelien Tchouameni, they were exploring this discussion for Jude Bellingham, but it was not even a negotiation because he’s not on the market.
“No bid, no discussion, no negotiation. Bellingham will not leave this summer, but next summer I believe he will be on this podcast every episode.”
Jude Bellingham is Real Madrid's next big target and the club will move for him in 2023.
He's been scouted by Madrid many times during his time at Dortmund and he's considered an ideal addition to the squad.

Bellingham (19) has already made 15 appearances for the senior national team and is being earmarked to be the future of England’s midfield.
Madrid would want to group him with young stars Eduardo Camavinga and Aurélien Tchouaméni to create the best young midfield three in world football.
He offers an all-round midfield threat, demonstrated by his six goals and 14 assists in all competitions for Dortmund last year.
Comfortable playing an attacking or defensive midfield role he offers a true tactical flexibility.
