Liverpool are pressing forward with their attempts to be bold and ambitious this summer and land a dream signing in the coming days. The Merseyside giants believe they have set the ball rolling on getting a deal done to shock the rest of Europe in the ongoing transfer window.
The Merseyside giants have moved early in the market and have already announced Jeremie Frimpong’s arrival from Bayer Leverkusen as Trent Alexander-Arnold’s replacement.
Liverpool are also close to signing Milos Kerkez from Bournemouth after working out an agreement with the Cherries for the Hungarian’s signature this summer.
However, all eyes are on the club’s pursuit of Florian Wirtz, and it appears Liverpool are getting ever closer to securing his signature in the ongoing transfer window, in what will be a dream signing.

Liverpool set to land dream signing

Bayer Leverkusen have rejected two bids from Liverpool so far, and are sticking to their £126.5m valuation of the attacking midfielder this summer.
Journalist James Pearce has conceded that it helps Liverpool that the player has made it clear that he wants to move to Anfield.
He admitted that initially it appeared that Wirtz was keen to join Bayern Munich before performing a major u-turn on the German champions.
Pearce is certain that a compromise will be reached between the two clubs soon, for Wirtz to move to Merseyside.
“David Ornstein reported late last week that a second bid of £109m went in. It wasn’t accepted, but those discussions are ongoing”, Pearce said on The Athletic podcast ‘Walk On’.
“I sense an expectation from both ends that a compromise will be reached. I think it massively helped Liverpool that Wirtz has made it clear to Liverpool that he wants the move to happen.
“There was a huge expectation that he’d be going to Bayern Munich. When we reported the interest, the people I’d spoken to said it was about trying to ensure that Liverpool would be at the front of the queue if he was prepared to move outside of Germany.
“Clearly, Liverpool have done a magnificent job of selling the project to him.”
