Liverpool do not want to stand still after winning the Premier League, with Arne Slot keen to bring in several reinforcements this summer. However, sporting director Richard Hughes is unlikely to stray too far from FSG’s transfer policy.
Slot wants to carry out major surgery on the squad in the summer transfer window, and the club have money to spend after not doing much in the last two windows.
The Liverpool manager wants to secure reinforcements for several major areas of his squad, and the club are expected to bring in as many as five new players.
However, Liverpool fans expecting a blitzkrieg in the window could be disappointed as FSG are unlikely to change much when it comes to their transfer policy this summer.
Can you name the team Liverpool sold these players to?
FSG’s transfer policy revealed ahead of the summer

Journalist David Ornstein has revealed the ideas FSG have ahead of the summer transfer window when Liverpool are expected to spend big on players.
The Athletic journalist insisted that while the club have money to spend, anyone expecting a massive outlay on players could be left disappointed this summer.
He stressed that FSG will focus on bringing in quality over spending large sums of money and pointed out that the club have already spent big sums on the contract extensions for Mo Salah and Virgil van Dijk.
“There is, of course, money available at Liverpool this summer – largely because of the prudence shown a year ago”, he said during a Q&A on The Athletic.
“But I think we should avoid from phrases like “war chest” because Liverpool have never spent crazily; as always, I suspect the priority will be quality – rather than size – of outlay.
“Don’t forget the extensions of Salah and Van Dijk come at a significant cost, and there may be others to follow, like Konate if an agreement can be reached.
“There is a lot to do, in and out, and Liverpool’s finances are in decent shape.
“But the focus will inevitably be to trade intelligently, as opposed to lavishly.”
Liverpool are also plotting to sell as many as ten players, which could bolster their spending power.
