Trent Alexander-Arnold has been expected to leave Liverpool this summer after it became clear that he would not be signing a new deal.
Real Madrid have been in talks with Liverpool to sign him early in order to have him in the squad for the Club World Cup that starts in the middle of June.
According to The Times, Alexander-Arnold’s move to Real Madrid is expected to be finalised in the next 24 hours.
It has been claimed that the two clubs are in talks and a deal is expected to be agreed upon in time for the transfer to take place when the window opens on 1st June.
Liverpool are ready to let him go early as they will save on his wages for the month of June and also get a small fee from Real Madrid for the early move.
