Liverpool are set to win the Premier League in the coming days, but the Reds are now preparing for a big summer transfer window. Arne Slot wants to bring in some top-class players, who are in demand at several other big clubs, including in the Premier League.
Richard Hughes will be under pressure in the summer to deliver after Slot more or less overperformed and is set to win the Premier League with the same team as Jurgen Klopp had.
The Liverpool sporting director and his recruitment team have identified a few top targets, and the club remain confident of getting a few deals done early.
However, Liverpool’s potential signings are also wanted at several other clubs, and one of their priority targets is now being looked at by one of their Premier League rivals.
Can you name these 10 former Premier League players?
Liverpool face old nemesis in pursuit of priority target

Liverpool identified Milos Kerkez as their top left-back target months back, and Hughes has been working on a deal to take him to Anfield this summer.
The Reds have been the top favourites to land him, and he has been tipped as one of the certainties to join the Merseyside giants this summer.
However, Kerkez has not decided on his next club yet, and according to Sky Sports News, Manchester City are also interested in getting their hands on him.
Pep Guardiola wants a natural left-back in his team next season, and Kerkez has been identified as a top target for Manchester City.
They have the financial muscle to match any offer Liverpool would make to Bournemouth and the player this summer for a move.
Liverpool would have to depend on selling a move to Anfield over the Etihad, but the lure of Guardiola remains a big factor in any race Manchester City are involved in.
Real Madrid are also keeping tabs on Kerkez, but the race is expected to come down between Liverpool and Manchester City.
