However, it’s unsure whether Liverpool will break the bank for a player who would have to play second fiddle to Mohamed Salah.

As reported in the Manchester Evening News, Liverpool have reportedly made an enquiry about bringing the player to the club.
It’s claimed that Liverpool aren’t keen on paying his £59M (€69.3M) price tag – despite him being one of their top targets.
However, according to Football Insider, reports claim that the Merseyside club have ‘got in touch’ with Ajax over a move for the player – sparking interest from fans.

He had a stellar season for club and country last year as he scored 12 times and assisted 10 goals for Ajax.
With Salah on the right wing in his position, the Brazilian would struggle for regular game time at Anfield.
That being said, he could be a perfect replacement in years to come when the Egyptian moves on from Liverpool.
