Liverpool have won the Premier League title with games to spare, but the club are not wasting time in their pursuit of new signings. The club are set to complete the arrival of a new player even before they play their last league game of the season.
Sporting director Richard Hughes and his recruitment team have been working hard behind the scenes for months to prepare for the upcoming summer transfer window.
Arne Slot wants to improve the options in his squad next season as he wants to do more than just defend Liverpool’s Premier League title and is keen to compete on all fronts.
The Liverpool manager is keen to have some of his new signings in place soon, and the club are set to deliver one new face even before the current season gets over.

Hughes has been working on several deals over the last few months, but one of those deals is set to get executed in the next week or so.
According to CaughtOffSide, Liverpool are keen to wrap up a deal to sign Bayer Leverkusen wing-back Jeremie Frimpong before their last game of the season against Crystal Palace on 25th May.
The Reds are in advanced negotiations with his representatives, and an agreement is in place for the defender to move to Anfield on a five-year deal.
The two sides are finalising the details of the contract, and Liverpool have already told Leverkusen that they intend to trigger his £30m release clause.
Once everything is in place, the Reds will trigger the clause and complete the formalities of the transfer to sign Frimpong.
If everything goes according to plan, Liverpool could present the Dutchman to the Anfield crowd on the final day of the season.
