Liverpool have accepted a ‘seven-figure’ bid for Canadian left-wing Liam Millar as the 21-year-old gets set to join Switzerland outfit, Basel.
According to the Liverpool Echo, Millar is ‘expected’ to join the Swiss outfit after the club accepted a bid from Basel and after spending five years with the Merseyside outfit, his stay will soon come to an end.
Sam Carroll, the author of the report, claims that he is close to agreeing personal terms and Liverpool “are close to confirming a deal.”
Millar’s imminent exit comes shortly after Anfield Central was given confirmation that Fatawu Issahakue has joined the club despite suggestions otherwise.
It was denied by domestic sources earlier this week but a senior source from Ghana told us that the deal is complete and that he will spend the 2021/22 season on loan in Portugal.
He will move to Sporting Lisbon on loan or for as long as it takes for him to become eligible for a UK work permit.
