Former Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has made his stance clear on Florian Wirtz. His fellow countryman arrived from Bayern Leverkusen over the summer and has been finding it difficult to adjust to life at Anfield.
Florian Wirtz is currently subject to a lot of criticism. Former German players have offered him advice, while asking the fans to be patient. However a section of fans want him to be dropped from the team.
Buying him for more than £110m, it is becoming hard to justify the price tag. Under such scrutiny Klopp has let his feelings known to the fans.

Spending nine seasons at Anfield, Jurgen Klopp is one of the most beloved and respected voices among the Kopites.
Coming out in support of his countryman, Klopp said, “I don’t have to worry about Florian Wirtz because his quality is so outstanding.”
“Of course, everything is fine and everyone knows that. The discussion is certainly being blown out of proportion.”, he added, explaining how things get hyped up.
As reported in Bein Sports, Klopp went on, “Liverpool just lost three games in a row, which is unusual. But that’s also normal in life. And that’s why such things are discussed there.”
“A once-in-a-century talent, and at some point, he’ll show that in every game again, just as he did at Leverkusen.”, affirming his support for the midfielder.
Gerrard causes an outrage among fans
Steven Gerrard has outraged a large section of Rangers fans by turning down an offer to manage the club.
The Liverpool legend had held talks following Russell Martin’s departure, but chose to withdraw from the interview process during the weekend. His rejection was met with prompt emotional response from the fans on the Record Sport Hotline.
“I didn’t want Gerrard back as the last time he jumped ship before he was pushed. He’s now been sacked from two clubs and Rangers were throwing him a life jacket as no-one else wanted him.”, declared a fan.
Meanwhile another stated how no one wanted to come aboard, “such a toxic environment and take over a team laden with duds.”
