According to German news outlet Sport1, Jurgen Klopp is interested in Florian Neuhaus but has to make space to sign the 24-year-old.
While Georginio Wijnaldum’s free-agent move to PSG might have vacated space in midfield, Ibrahima ‘Ibou’ Konate took his non-homegrown slot in the squad.
Liverpool have their hands tied as far as making new signings are concerned as they cannot register new players if they aren’t from the UK.

According to Florian Plettenberg, Neuhaus is a player that Jurgen Klopp strongly admires and has recently expressed this in talks.
The German coach ‘definitely’ wants to sign him but according to Plettenberg and Sport 1, the ace is set to stay in the Bundesliga for the 2021/22 season.
The player would reportedly cost around €40m which isn’t too much but it’s impossible to tell how much FSG have given Michael Edwards to work with at this point.

Hysteria among supporters on social media is growing with each passing day and while there is a full month for Liverpool to strengthen their squad, the pressure is on.
There are exactly two weeks until the Premier League season kicks off against Norwich City and while the Reds certainly have enough quality to succeed as things stand, we know what injuries can do to this squad.
Klopp will be fully aware of his need for strength in numbers after what happened to Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez, Joel Matip and co. last season.

However, if Klopp can keep the likes of van Dijk, Mo Salah, Fabinho, Alisson and Jordan Henderson fit, it will be difficult to stop Liverpool from achieving their goals.
