Liverpool may have spent a record fee on securing the services of Darwin Nunez but their best bit of business might just be signing Fabio Carvalho.
Signed for a fraction of the fee that Nunez was bought for, the diminutive attacking midfielder has already charmed Liverpool fans.
His performances in pre-season have shown fans he is something different and that he is an exciting talent capable of impressing in this team.
There isn’t a Reds fan out there who isn’t excited about the Portuguese midfielder.

His Pre-Season highlights
In the three games of pre-season so far, Carvalho has stood out but he’s also been afforded a generous number of minutes so far.
That tells us one thing: Jurgen Klopp is a big fan. After all, why wouldn’t he be? He looks like the Philippe Coutinho re-gen that fans have been dreaming about.
From the highlights below you can see the skills he brings to the table – his low centre of gravity, acceleration and direct nature will serve him well in this Liverpool team.
Good morning Reds!

Likely to feature in the three-man midfield, he should be afforded more freedom to get forward and link up with the front three.
Don’t discount Klopp bringing out a 4-2-3-1 formation to help Carvalho operate in his favoured position – although this will likely just be against weaker sides where they will have a lot of possession or when a goal is desperately needed.
Clearly a natural talent, no one is getting carried away with Carvalho but one thing is for sure – £5m is an absolute bargain.
