Football fans have been slammed by Jamie Carragher following their abuse of Erling Haaland over the weekend.
Haaland’s glaring miss in the dying minutes of the Community Shield was quickly met with a ton of abuse online.
The same thing happened to Darwin Nunez over pre-season with fans creating fail video compilations of any bad touch, pass or shot.
The former Liverpool defender took to social media to call out fans who create such videos, issuing a strong verdict.

Haaland, 22, joined City from Borussia Dortmund this summer and started his first competitive game for the Citizens yesterday.
Whilst Liverpool’s star striker signing Darwin Nunez also got his first taste of competitive action following his £85m move from Benfica.
The pair experienced differing fortunes as Nunez won a penalty and scored late on as Liverpool saw City’s challenge.
Haaland’s performance was highly criticised by fans as the Norweigan failed to score late on from a seemingly easy chance.

Carragher took to social media to slam any fans dismissing them as ‘clowns’ who’ve never kicked a ball in their life.
“The #Haaland banter compilations will be everywhere this week after that miss, just like #Nunez last week. From (clowns) who have never kicked a ball in their life.”
Manager Pep Guardiola laughed off any notion that he was worried about Haaland following the miss.
“He was there, today he didn’t score and other days he will score” He claimed in the post-match press conference.
“Pep, any worries about the chances that he (Haaland) missed?”
Guardiola: *laughs* “No… No, no no.”
One of the most highly rated finishers in the world for his age and the press are already on it after his competitive debut.
