Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville has tipped a repeat result in the Premier League title race when speaking on the Overlap.
Maybe more out of hope that Liverpool don’t equal Manchester United’s record of 20 league titles.
Liverpool missed out on the title last year on the final day to Manchester City in what was a dramatic conclusion to the season.
The Reds have strengthened with the signings of Darwin Nunez and Fabio Carvalho but City have brought in real firepower with Erling Haaland and Julian Alvarez while also adding Kalvin Phillips to the squad.
Neville has backed City to win once again, citing that the loss of Mane could be a real issue.
The next 4 weeks are big for Manchester United and Cristiano .

Neville on title race
The former Manchester United right-back argued with fellow pundit Jamie Carragher on the Overlap, making the claim that City are stronger but with Liverpool, he’s not sure following the loss of Sadio Mane.
“If you’re making a prediction now, I’d say that City have got stronger,” said Neville, speaking on the Overlap, in partnership with Sky Bet.
“I don’t think that, hand on heart, you could say that Liverpool have got stronger, because Mane was unbelievable.
“I don’t think that you can say that Liverpool are going to be weaker, but you can definitely say City are going to be equal to last season if not better.”

Carragher argued back claiming both sides will have to try something different – referring to the fact that both are big natural number nine’s which is different to what we’ve seen in recent years.
“We don’t know what Nunez is going to do, though,” Carragher added.
“What I’m saying is that both teams are going to be different. Liverpool have never played under Klopp with a big centre-forward, and even Pep – of course, he played with (Sergio) Aguero.
“But in the last couple of years they haven’t really played with a striker so they’re going to have to adapt and they’re going to be slightly different.“
